Jukka Peltola, the creator of Goodio, wants us to discover Nordic tastes and aromas through chocolate. Goodio favours organic and nutritious ingredients, combining them with unique flavours such as wild bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) and sea buckthorn (Elaeagnus rhamnoides A.), typical of the Finnish coniferous forests.
The chocolate is processed as little as possible to keep the ingredients as close as possible to their natural state. Goodio therefore uses 'raw' cocoa, which means that it is not heated above 50°C to preserve the cocoa's nutrients, antioxidants and enzymes. The taste proposition is unique, with bars that are high in antioxidants, described as "superfoods".
